Legal Outsourcing: Another Billion Dollar Industry
Surging businessVirtually unheard 10 years ago, the term “outsourcing” has emerged as a phenomenon in the business of the present day world. It has become the backbone of Indian service sectors. In the last fiscal India earned $6.7 billion by providing services in software, technology and manufacturing outsourcing. Now the BPO companies have turned their eyes on legal outsourcing. According to a study by the US-based Forester Research, the current annual value of legal outsourcing which is worth $80 million can rise up to $4 billion and can produce 79,000 jobs in India by 2015. National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) also projected that Legal Processing Outsourcing providers (LPOs) in India will soon rise up to $3-4 billion. This heralds the opening of new vistas for law professionals whose number is increasing incessantly.According to Forrester Research report, “The benefit of the outsourcing companies in the US would translate into a cost saving of about 10-12 per cent. The potential of the Indian resources to absorb the increasing demand in legal outsourcing is because India enjoys the economic advantages of the wage difference and less perks and overheads.”Nature of workIn the beginning the works which are being outsourced to India are “of secretarial nature and includes patent drafting, legal research, contract review a

Since testing can produce a nearly constant improvement in your click through rate (CTR). Here’s the surefire three-step formula that’s as easy as one...two...three. Tip: Test headlines first while keeping the body copy the same. Headlines can have a huge impact. Tip: Set it up so Google serves up both ads equally. Otherwise Google will present the ad that's producing the most click throughs more often which will skew your test. Surefire Step #2: Monitor Results After 40 clicks review your results. Obtaining Good Content
Every piece of advice at the moment about improving search engine position especially Google suggests that web sites should be updated regularly with good quality content. The phrase ‘Content is King’ is seen in most articles on the subject now. So what is good content and how do you go about getting it?You can purchase it, by hiring a copywriter. However to do this on a regular basis will turn out to be quite expensive. So are there cheaper options? At no cost you can visit the article distributors sites and search them for content on your chosen topic. If you are in quite a specialist field you could find that this method does not turn up any useful articles. Whether this works or not and how well it works depends entirely on the topic of your site. You may be fortunate and find a wealth of free reprint articles which are directly related to your site. You may as I have often done in the past struggle to find anything relevant. If you do find a directory with a useful library of articles then you can incorporate these into your web site via an RSS feed. This way every time a relevant article is published it will immediately appear and update your own site. This takes all the hassle out of the process. It is my own experience that articles are hard to come by which are truly relevant to my own websites. So what is the alternative in this situation?Nobody, except others

Data Warehousing - Tom's Ten Data Tips
Data Warehousing was an innovation from the 90's that promised to change the data landscape for good. How far have we come? Many vendors have entered the marketplace because it makes sense to bring together data from throughout the organization, and this will continue to make sense in the future. How large the Data Warehouse market will grow nobody knows yet. But for sure it is still growing fast, and currently is estimated at 4,5 billion dollar per year (IDC).1. Why Do Data Warehouse Projects Run Into Scope Creep? To quote Bill Inmon (guru and author of several great books on Data Warehousing) "Traditional projects start with requirements and end with data. Data Warehousing projects start with data and end with requirements." As soon as the project gets under way, users will find new applications, and with it will come new requests for data. Interestingly, these projects often are justified by moving Q&R work away from the 'data people'. What we've seen is that the first thing that happens as soon as the project delivers is that more requests for special queries are submitted to these same 'data people'. This may appear to undermine the initial business case but actually signals the onset of value creation from the DWH project.2. Star Schema Versus Entity Relation Model? There has been enormous debate in the community abo

Leverage is common tool available for individual investors. Whenever we open a brokerage account at pretty much any broker, such as E*trade, TD Waterhouse, etc, we can enable margin or option feature pretty easily. Because options usually are not favorable leverage tool for value investors, I generally do not recommend options for investment purposes. This article will focus mainly on margin to illustrate the concept and usage of leverage in stock investment.

    Leverage - how it works?

Margin is open-ended debt that investors borrow money forever as long as the margin requirements are met. Right now at this low interest rate environment, brokerages typically charge about 5% - 7% interest rate on margin debt.

Here is an example how an investor can make more money by using margin
