Consumer Magazines are Sometimes Disguised Ads
We all want to trust that what we read is true, authentic, and genuine, but often the printed word is backed up by paying sponsors who control the spin. For that reason, the magazine Consumer Reports came out many years ago, to provide trustworthy critiques of consumer products within the hype and bias. Even Consumer Reports has to fight to keep its own reputation as an objective magazine, because so many readers are skeptical that a media company will sell itself out to the powerful corporate interests that make those many consumer products. Of course most of us can easily understand why bribes to a magazine that is in the business of critiquing products would be a problem, and why it is essential to stay above that kind of influence for this type of public

    Requirements to become Physician Assistant
The road to Physician Assistant certificateSome may think of Physician Assistant’s profession as just another job, while others have never heard of this career. Physician Assistant or PA is relatively new profession. It was established in the late 1960’s after the Vietnam War. During that time there were a lot of experienced Navy corpsmen coming home from the war. Navy corpsmen are Navy medics who serve with the Marines. Corpsman gained an extensive amount of combat medicine. They cared for hundreds of wounded changing their bandages, administering medications, performing minor surgical procedures, and numerous life-saving procedures. Corpsmen had no equivalent job in the civilian life, so the Physician Assistant profession was developed.Today,
I'm writing this article because I would have appreciated someone warning me about unknowingly pushing myself into a severe relapse of PVFS (ME/CFS) a few years ago (when I was struggling to keep my full-time job).

Most working ME/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Fibromyalgia (FM) sufferers face the same kind of problems at some point during their illness:

Should they continue work? Should they cut down? Or should they stop completely? And if they stop where will the money come from?

Unless you're on your way to full recovery, ME/CFS and FM and full-time jobs (especially demanding or stressful ones) can be a recipe for disaster. So if you feel that you're 'running faster than your legs can carry you' (so to speak) then please LISTEN to your body.

    Setting Up A Business
If you are thinking about setting up a business, it pays to be thorough in your preparations. Before you invest as little as a single dollar, it would be advisable to compile a business plan to verify the feasibility and sustainability of the business you have in mind.In other words, the very first step to take when setting up a business is building a comprehensive business plan. Inside this plan, you will need to specify the product or service you intend to sell, which market segment you intend selling to and what the potential market size for your product is. The plan needs to contain information on the source of the goods or services you intend selling and note any potential risks in terms of supply. Infrastructure, human- and other resource requi

    What Did You Say?
My table-mates introduced themselves as the reciprocal protocol began. We chatted about what we did, where we did it and what we thought of the conference. Stan joined the table as the chicken was served. He'd been introduced to me earlier and we'd talked briefly during the pre-dinner social. Now he was peppering me with intriguing business questions. This was going to be a lively and interesting discussion, I thought. But my hopes vanished faster than an ice cube melting in the desert. I realized Stan wasn't listening. He didn't care what I had to say; he was waiting for his turn to talk. And talk he did, monopolizing the table's conversation with his back-patting soliloquy. That experience got me thinking. My hopes had been raised believing tha

Payroll Accounting Software: The Right One For You
Business is about running numbers and managing money. It is all about keeping track on where the money is coming from and where it is going. One who doesn't keep a tab on it nearly always loses money and sometimes the business as well. Accounting software are a boon from heaven - or so they seem- as they reduce one's accounting burdens to such an unimaginable degree that one is left wondering if he overestimated the gravity of the problem in the first place. One such accounting software is the software for payroll accounting, which is an effective tool to meet the needs of small businesses, companies, institutions and the giant multinational corporations. The software is a feat not only to the business houses but also to non profit earning instutuions

    Don't Confuse The Message
One of the worst mistakes an advertiser can make is sending mixed messages. I'm always paying attention to advertising and marketing to see how others attempt to get their message across in 15-30 seconds. After-all, the human attention span isn't getting any greater, and we're overloaded with messages on a day-to-day basis so we weed out almost everything anymore. That's interruptive marketing at its best. What happens when advertisers confuse the message and stray from the core of what the business actually does?A prime example today of a mixed message campaign is Rally's Hamburgers, a southeastern based burger and fry joint with dual drive through windows (one on each side of their facilities) which used to be headquartered in my b

Be VERY careful because you walk a VERY fine line when you push yourself as a ME/CFS or FM sufferer. It's all too easy to get worse, but soooo difficult to get better.

I remember when I worked full-time and commuted into central London during my brief remission a few years ago. Three pitiful months was all I could manage! By the end of it I was on my knees and heading into a massive relapse that ended up being more severe than before. And this time I was much worse... because this time...I became housebound.

But while I was working I tried my best to ignore the 'warning signals'. I kept thinking 'I'll be ok - everyone gets tired'.

    But inside I knew
