Accountability or Confusion - Why Use a CRM
How many times have you purchased leads from an Internet lead provider or direct mail vendor, only to wonder…Where are my leads? Has anyone called my lead? Did we sell cars from our leads? Are there any referrals? At the end of the month did your lead provider leave you with more questions than answers? What happens with your lot-ups? Are there follow-up and closing opportunities at the bottom of your sales rep’s drawer? What about those phone calls that come straight into th

    Non-Profit Fundraisers
A number of welfare and development programs can be organized with the help of non-profit fundraising events. Fundraising activities are normally undertaken by school fundraisers, college fundraisers, and church fundraisers, or by the youths for various activities. The purpose of fundraisers varies depending on an organization's interests. This includes collecting funds for poor children, daycare centers, and hospitals. When raising funds, the process needs to be monitored efficiently to eliminate chance
How can you be sure that the chiropractor, plastic surgeon, psychologist, or attorney that you’ve selected is professionally competent, that he or she is likely to handle your case with skill and due care?

The short answer is you can’t.

In his book, THE TAO OF NEGOTIATION, author Joel Edelman, a mediation specialist and law professor, says 90% or more of the professionals he has encountered he’d consider so inept that he would not personally use their services.

People who seem to have some of the best credentials staring down from their high-rent walls may have once been super at what they do, but if they’ve grown lazy, or they’re distracted by personal problems such as drug or alcohol addictions, or they’re “phoning it in” during summer days, or they simply don’t take your matter seriously, you, your objective, and your money may be in jeopardy.

I believe there are at least 5 signs that you may have selected an incompetent practitioner and that as soon as you can, you should at least call a “timeout” in your work together, or halt it altogether.

Networking Your Way to Business Success
Running a successful business used to be dependent on what you knew. Then, who you knew became important. In today's economy, it is far more critical to what extent you know someone. So it's not what you know or who you know, but how well you know them that really determines the amount of business that can be generated by a contact.Networking is the process of meeting people (also known as contacts), either through a contact that you initiate or through an introduction by a third party.

Documentation Provides Clarification, Fortification and Corroboration
Once you obtain business, do you give much thought to protecting yourself (and your income)? Often, we’re so exhausted by our business-building efforts, and so exhilarated when we get it, that we simply shift to concentrating on closing the deal – and ignore potential adverse situations. The following scenario recently happened with one of my real estate coaching clients. While this exact situation may not happen if you’re not a real estate professional (or other professional for which proving you’re t

Make Your CV Come Alive - Identify Your Achievements and Keep them Updated
Your CV is an important document but it can also be boring! Bring it alive by capturing real examples from all aspects of your life. When we apply for a job, we have to provide examples of our achievements, courses we have completed etc. Too often we only remember what we did after we have made the application.Let today be the day you start filling your own jewel chest. Let the diamonds be your achievements, the rubies courses you have been on, emeralds the personality testing results etc. What yo

    Positive Words
When writing a resume never forget the power of your words. I have time and time again seen where job seekers have written things like work requirements. An employer is not looking for work requirements. This informs them that you were required to do it, and may not have wanted to. How about something more positive such as on the job acomplishments. This not only conveys what you did at the job, but what you actually accomplished.Titles are also very powerfull. Using titles to your advantage c

For example, any attorney worth his salt will know that each case has its own peculiarities and dynamics, and by investing “intake” time with you on the front end, they’ll make their jobs smoother and less subject to nasty surprises.

    (2) They don’t show patience in answering your questions, they’re not open to hearing more about your needs or concerns than you expressed in the initial interview, or they simply won’t return your phone calls. After you agree with a surgeon to do a little nip and tuck your friend tells you that her face is still partially numb 36 months after her procedure was done, and you’re worried. Will that surgeon take your call, or set aside a few minutes to go over the potential risks and side effects of the operation you have chosen?

    (3) They reverse delegate to you. One lawyer I used actually typed my legal motion into his computer as I spoke, using my language without editing it. I happen to have legal training but still, he should go over any draft once or twice to assure he has captured not only the facts and recited proper legal authority, but has adopted a suitable and sympathetic tone in his text. It’s not your job to do t
