For those of you who don't know me, my name is Ron Piner and I'm a practicing CPA in Maryland. From the time I was a young fellow in high school, I knew I wanted to be an accountant. Believe it or not, when I attended the University of Maryland, all I could think about was passing the CPA exam. The thought of being able to help individuals and businesses with financial issues ranging from the very basic to the most complex is an excitement I still carry this day. And when it does, only those who have the ability to recognize and act on it have a genuine chance of making it work on their behalf. But the recognition in itself is not enough to reap the benefits, you must also be willing to “re-arrange” current projects or place them on hold.
The reason for this last statement is that most of us decide to start our own business for a much bigger and overall goal then just the freedom to be your own boss and working your own hours. Yes the opportunity to gain financial independence also plays a big role in this decision as well.
But you see I believe that if we have enough faith to step out the waters in the first place, then we also have bigger dreams and a sense of accomplishment within ourselves that needs to be fulfilled.
If you don’t believe this to be true, just take a look at the business you’ve been working so hard on to make it work on your behalf. Day after day and week after week we spend countless hours researching, reading, buying and investing in the next needed tool or process that will increase customer visits to our websites and thus effect our bottom-line – to make the sale.
In doing this we are showing both the determination and commitment to succeed against all odds.
Why is it that we feel we must succeed?
I have discovered that there is a problem with this.
And no the problem is NOT in our desire to succeed, but in our getting caught-up in the process of building our business. Because the process of building a business is often a long and hard road to travel, losing sight of our overall goal becomes more and more probable with each step.

When I first started my business I truly believed I discovered an opportunity that would provide me with the financial means to accomplish my goals. But the truth is, the competition in every industry is rough, and those who don’t have the finances to begin with will have a much tougher time marketing their product or service.
In the process of providing a service to a customer it hit me hard! In fact it totally took me by surprise.
I wasn’t looking to explore another business opportunity. After all, I was already involved and committed to my own home-based business in which I have spent a considerable amount of time, money, and energy in trying to build.

Although the effects from reading the information about this opportunity didn’t sink in immediately, in time I thought more and more about the earning possibilities that this opportunity presented. I never thought about being VERY well to do in financial terms, just comfortable.
And to be quite honest, I have previously ALWAYS dismissed Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) opportunities without so much as a second thought of whether or not this was even a true market. But because my interest was perked, I was led to investigate all the facts surrounding this market.
