They Called YOU, So It's Your Deal To Lose!
I can’t express what a wonderful gift it is to receive an inbound inquiry.I just got a good one, today, while I was having another 12 hour day, and I couldn’t get back to it, until after hours, Central time.Still, I made a point to call, to leave a voice mail saying thank you for thinking of me, here’s my email address if you like, my cell number, and by the way, I’ll call you if you don’t call me, and THANKS!Inbound inquiries are precious, and it’s too easy to become spoiled by them, thinking t
    “You’ve got mail!”

That phrase blasted from the 10” cheapo computer speakers that flank my 19” big boy monitor. I don’t use AOL but I set my email client to “belt out” the common phrase to let me know I have a new batch of mail screaming down the pipe.

In that avalanche of mail that poured into my mailbox like a broken-handled faucet, I noticed a pieced of spam (gotta love the spam). This wasn’t’ just an ordinary piece of spam this was a high-tech, glossy piece of spam – an html spam (the ones with fancy pictures on it).

This spam was actually from someone I had met in person and gotten my email address off a piece of email I had sent to her and then put me into her spam database without permission.

Interest Only Mortgages – FSA Introduces New Regulations
According to Abbey, over a quarter of homeowners choose an interest-only mortgage. It's obvious why – the payments are a lot more affordable, as this example shows: a 25 year ?125,000 interest only mortgage at 5% costs ?525 per month - but on a repayment mortgage it's an extra ?210 a month, totalling ?735 per month.First time buyers are finding it tough enough to get on the property ladder as it is, so it's quite understandable that they should choose to take the option with the lower payments. However, a lar

    About Gradual And Radical Changes
We all have been involved in changes. A simple move from one house to a new one count as a real experience. What did you most (dis)like about the move; the radical change on the day that you delivered the key and entered the new place, or the long gradual adaptation period afterwards? Each change comprises a time frame, which depends on the scope of the change. The larger the scope of the change, the more difficult to manage the change in a gradual way.The first situation, that of a gradual change focus

    Nerve of Steel
L.N. Mittal has an abundant appetite for acquiring steel firms. From Kazakhstan to Romania, from Indonesia to the US, the Indian-born takeover tycoon’s Mittal Steel has gobbled up steel plants and added them to his expanding empire. But not even his most ardent admirers bet on the success of his bid for Europe’s biggest steel maker Arcelor S.A.Except perhaps Mittal himself. Luxembourg-based Arcelor had tried everything to fend off the metal maven. At first there was shock and confusion in the European ranks a

The spam was nicely set up with a headline and subheads, but since it was HTML and the headline was an image the image took way too long to load and I was already into the subhead (it was text) before the headline even made its first showing.

The subhead (first thing I read) said, “Are you trying to force round pegs into square holes?” Now we’ve all heard this clich? line before and I’m asking myself what the heck does it mean and what the heck does it mean to me in the context of your business???

    Copywriting Tip #1

Don’t use clich? lines in your headlines and sub headlines. We’ve all heard them before which means we don’t take notice and they don’t cause us to think. You need provocative headlines and subheads that engage your reader and make them think about themselves in terms of your business or solution.
