I arrive with about 350 other guys. We smile at each other but really don’t talk much. I guess we all feel that we are too good and too proud to be at a sales-training seminar. The trainer/speaker/guru promenades into the room and starts glad-handing everyone. Is the school to blame for the fact that they didn't discover the gun when Shane entered the school? Are the parents to blame, because they had the gun in the house to start with? Make Money Online - Make Money at Home
The internet is one of the best place where you can shop online for products you are looking for. Whether you are shopping for stuff like computers, credit card, clothing, digital products, etc for your own personal use, or products like programs that promise you to earn extra money online , they can be found everywhere in the internet world. An 11th-grader despondent that his parents might curtail his after-school activities because of poor grades took a rifle to school Tuesday and killed himself between classes in a hallway. The gunman, Shane Joseph Halligan, 16, had no intention of hurting anyone else in the 9 a.m. shooting at Springfield Township High School, Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce L. Castor Jr. said. Halligan was an Eagle Scout and a volunteer firefighter whose poor grades had led his parents on Monday to threaten to cut back on his after-school activities.

Today I would like to talk about school safety. A school is supposed to be a place where you send your child to so it can get a better education, then if you would do it yourself. Most people won't be able to educate their children at home, and that is why we have invented schools, with teachers who specialize in their subjects, and who care about our children as if they where their own.

School is not supposed to be a place where you are afraid of. Violence does not belong in schools. Granted, it will be difficult to stop certain boys from bullying most of the rest, but a child should not be afraid of his fellow classmates in terms of: "Did he/she bring his guns to school today?, and if so, what will happen?" happen?" This time, the boy didn't hurt anyone else, and committed suicide, which is very tragic to start with. Is the school to blame for the fact that they didn't discover the gun when Shane entered the school? Are the parents to blame, because they had the gun in the house to start with? Or should society have a good look at it's self to see where all those problems come from.

Gun related incidents are unfortunately not unique to the United States of America. No, other countries around the world are facing the same kind of problems. But since it happened in a place far, far away, people tend not to care. Wrong, very wrong. We should care, no matter where a child is in this world, it should be protected against violence, at home, and in this case, specifically at school. What kind of behaviour can you expect from a child when it grows up, if it is exposed to murders, and other kinds of violent acts during its youth? Why does childhood has to end so soon for so many children?

I feel deeply sorry for the parents of Shane, as I'm sure that this was the last thing they wanted to happen to their child. And I would like to ask all parents, anywhere in the world, to please keep guns out of reach of their children. In most cases that would mean: keep guns out of the house, because when there is a gun in the house, an accident like this is waiting to happen. But, as usually, I don't care what you do, as long as you don't forget to love a soldier. Love, Jenifer Bloom.
