    Which do you consider more important in life? Quality or quantity?

    This was a question posed on Yahoo Answers tonight and the following is my response to that question to this spiritual question.

    Would you rather have a shorter life with less suffering and hardship or a longer life with more? How do you gauge the quality of your life against the quality?

    example: Let's say you can have 40 good years with a little suffering and trials or 50 years with more suffering and hardship. Which would you choose?

    I wish I could ask questions as profound as you.

    Well lets see.

    I have suffered for a number of years and I am 40 now. At present I have 225 articles on ezine articles and if I died that would stay the same and that is all that would be left for my heritage.

    I suffer but I can handle the suffering and counseling in coming months is going to help me become better and suffer less and have a better life.

    But since when is quality of life been deined as a life free of suffering and hardship? Our own Messiah had a very difficult life growing up in his homeland.

    For it says in scripture.

    Isaiah 53

    1 Who has believed our message
    and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?

    2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
    and like a root out of dry ground.
    He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
    nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

    3 He was despised and rejected by men,
    a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
    Like one from whom men hide their faces
    he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

    4 Surely he took up our infirmities
    and carried our sorrows,
    yet we considered him stricken by God,
    smitten by him, and afflicted.

    5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
    the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
    and by his wounds we are healed.

    6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
    each of us has turned to his own way;
    and the LORD has laid on him
    the iniquity of us all.

    7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
    yet he did not open his mouth;
    he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
    and as a sheep before her shearers is silent,
    so he did not open his mouth.

    8 By oppression [a] and judgment he was taken away.
    And who can speak of his descendants?
    For he was cut off from the land of the living;
    for the transgression of my people he was stricken. [b]

    9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
    and with the rich in his death,
    though he had done no violence,
    nor was any deceit in his mouth.

    10 Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
    and though the LORD makes [c] his life a guilt offering,
    he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
    and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.

    11 After the suffering of his soul,
    he will see the light of life [d] and be satisfied [e] ;
    by his knowledge [f] my righteous servant will justify many,
    and he will bear their iniquities.

    12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, [g]

    Freelance Writers: How to Stay Focused on Developing Your Writing Career
    One question I hear over and over again from the writing students I coach is, "How do I get focused and stay that way?"That's a good question. Even seasoned professional freelancers have trouble staying focused from time to time. And they usually find their writing careers start to suffer when that happens.Here are some tips for getting focused on developing your freelance writing career and staying that way:1. Brainstorm for a few minutes and make a list of all the things you like to write about. Once you've got several things on your list, narrow the list down to just your top two areas of interest. Stick with these two areas or topics

    Who Loves Statistics?
    Statistics, the word almost makes me cringe as it is a reminder of all the hard work I had to do to finish my degree. I do not think that it is statistics per se but it is the fact that I had to create the numbers from formulas. In business, statistics are generated from asking the right questions and instead of doing all the calculations, the software takes over and you see the immediate results. Statistics breathe life into websites and marketing departments. Everything you do needs to be measured. You should measure each marketing campaign to find out what is working. You should measure where internet visitors come from and how they got to your site. And you

    He had a short life, but in retrospect it was a life that possessed such quality.

    It has taken me fully ten years to get to the depths of his parables and that's ten healthy years of my life.

    WE should not define quality with good health, good jobs and fortune, the quality of ones life might be best measured I suggest by the impact we had on our society. Did we make the world a better place? Did we show in more then words that the Spirit of Christ dwells in us and His life is one with abundant blessings and long answers to peoples profound questions.

    Quality or quantity.

    A person wanted me to read an hour of the Bible each day. I tried that for a while and found that within ten minutes my mind was bursting with information and thinking and I had to take days to process the revelation the Holy Spirit would give me in ten minutes reading.

    I have settled for the quality of reading ten minutes and writing two hours what I have learned as an article and other people get to share in my discoveries. So quality is best, yet it should not be measured by suffering.

    Some of the worst sufferers of the world have written a book and shaken nations. You can look at how the apostle Paul suffered and what he added to human kind.

    I wonder without being stoned twice and beaten with rods and shipwrecked a couple of times would have we had such profound and life changing writings. I am gald Paul suffered and I am glad I suffer. My suffering is quality and brings forth good fruit.

    Be blessed
