Their battles do not consist of bombs or automatic weapons, they consist of slingshots, bows and arrows, they fight to defend the American Flag. They fight a breakaway faction which wants to modernize and embrace Christianity. There are missionaries running rampant on the Island, I'm sure they instigated these battles, even if only unconsciously. The battle or feud did end however with pigs being offered to both sides in a "reconciliatory ceremony", but this battle is not over, with both sides truly believing in their "causes".

I find it quite funny that a Cult celebrates our nation's way of life. They dream of running refrigerators, cars as well as airplanes. They want what "John Frum" represented. My question here, is why do Americans not appreciate these things in which we constantly take for granted?
