More companies are saving time and effort by doing initial telephone interviews before committing themselves to hours of time assessing and evaluating applicants. They are doing this because, frankly, it's a good way to save a team's time from interviewing obviously unqualified people. Every one of us knows how spam impacts us. Every day we either get a ton of spam - or if we're fairly well protected by spam filters - only a few pieces.Like a large number of people, I don't use any spam filters. Ah. You think I'm insane. A German chemist named Joseph Wilbrand first made the chemical known as trinitrotoluene in 1863. We know it better as TNT. TNT is a powerful explosive from which bombs can be made. In fact, the explosive yield of TNT serves as the measure of the strength of bombs and other explosives.

We learned on September 11, 2001, that a jet laden with fuel in its wings can be a flying bomb. People who fly on an airplane early in the morning often stay up late packing and preparing for their flight. They may grab a pillow and a blanket and go to sleep on the airplane. If any passengers went to sleep on the jets that hit the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, they would have gone to sleep on a bomb.

Have we gone to sleep on a bomb? Have we gone to sleep spiritually? This world will explode with troubles such as the world has never seen. The world has become such a dangerous place because of terrorists that passengers are no longer allowed to carry even a bottle of water on an airplane. Surely the trials of life will come our way because time and chance affect us all. Are we spiritually awake and ready for the trials that will come and for the coming of Jesus Christ? Or have we gone to sleep on a bomb?

The purpose of this article is to inspire you to be spiritually awake so that you will be ready for the trials and tribulations of life and for the return of Jesus Christ.

Let Us Not Sleep

Let us read an admonition from the apostle Paul about staying alert and not going to sleep spiritually in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11:

Verses 1-3

1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (KJV)

This World Does Not Know the Way to Peace

With all the wars and conflicts in the world, there often comes a cease fire or an agreement to end the war. And all too often, the war resumes with even greater intensity because the rulers of this world do not know the way to peace.

4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

Monetary Flows, Consumer Debt, Policy, Trade Deficit and Reality
America has some monetary issues, which need to be addressed. First consumer debt is at issue; the average consumer is upside down in their cars, over extended on credit card debt and living in a house, which they may have 10-15% equity and probably less with all these new home sales on 2-3% down and all the re-financing to pay off short term debt. Second; lets look at Wal-Mart; You buy a product there, 6% goes to the employee, 10% is profit to the company, 80% goes to re-stock or the cost of goods sold. Of the 80% about 20-25% goes to China. Now then how long will it take at 433 Billion dollars a year for China to have all of our money, leaving no money flow for us to circulate? Well if we keep putting money into our economy, it would take forever, but if we do not then eventually all the money flow will go.Now some of that money comes back since expanding emerging markets need things, but only $1 in six is coming back to us. How is it coming back? Is it coming back in consumables? Are they buying automobiles? No, we cannot produce the automobiles as inexpensive as South Korea, Japan or India; our labor unions, regulations and factored in costs of lawsuits or even threats of potential lawsuits will not allow us to.
