However, interpretations of Biblical characters and events that have dominated Christianity and western tradition for centuries are questionable. For example, it is usually conceived that Jesus Christ was a white, Semitic character because of the Semitic origin of the Hebrews. But we must consider that the Bible itself was written from a Jewish perspective and the definition of some characters must have changed from their true forms due to distortion by the Church fathers in the medieval period. For example, the Christian legacy made me believe that circumcision started among the Hebrews, until I read Herodotus. Circumcision was actually borrowed from the Egyptians. Herodotus claimed the Jews themselves told him they borrowed it from the Egyptians. Remember, God told Abraham to circumcise his household after he had been to Egypt.

This purpose of this analysis is not to ridicule existing values. Rather, it is to strengthening them by revealing those truths that had been denied humanity for centuries. It is important that we realize that races are only dependent on physical appearances. Beyond that, all men are equal. Thanks.
