Dropship Your Way To Ebusiness Success
Q: I would like to start my own eBay business, but I really don’t want to invest in a ton of inventory until I can get a better handle on what might or might not sell. I read another column about dropshipping, but I’m still a little fuzzy on how the whole process works. Do you think using dropshipping is a good way to start an eBay business and if so, how do I get started? -- Candace M.A: Dropshipping is a topic that I first addressed in my column way back in Ap

The Lesson of the Purple Bags
For several years, I was a purchasing agent for an office of the federal government. Yep, it was me spent your tax dollars, and not always wisely, but that's another article.Vendors, and those who wanted to be, often sent us samples of their products in the hopes of convincing us that their products were really what the U.S. government couldn't live without. One day, a package arrived from a company which purported to specialize in the handling of hazardous waste
My recent trip to Hawaii reminded me of the power of contrasts. One day I was in Watertown, MA, where the natural world is incidental and mild. Two days and two long plane trips later, the dominant and powerful nature of volcanoes, crashing surf, and lush tropical plants filled my senses. The balance and proportions had changed dramatically. Such sudden rearrangements make one stop and look around!

Many people choose to live in Hawaii BECAUSE the natural world is so dominant and magnificent there - it feeds their souls. It's a tough economy there, so in order to survive, many people work 2 or 3 jobs, and many live at a subsistence level. The people I talked to were quite conscious and intentional about the tradeoffs they were buying into and were at peace with them.

The innkeepers at the Bed & Breakfast where we stayed had glimpsed these options and made major changes in their lives. They'd relocated from Southern California, where they had become increasingly unhappy with the encroachment of urban sprawl into their lives. They sold their home and bought the Hawaii property on which they now run both a B&B and a working coffee and macadamia nut farm. UAV Blimps Powered By Hydro-Electric Motors Using Hydro and Fluid Dynamic Theory
I believe it is possible to design a pilot-less hydro-electric blimp which would have a propulsion system which never requires fuel and would be based on a Perpetual Motion Machine which uses fluid dynamics in a hydro-electric. First the shape of this thing would be similar to the new shopping mall shade cover on the Las Vegas Strip. An oblong flying saucer shape would be two of these, which would be stacked like pancakes. They would be apart by 1/3 the length of each symmetri

A Sample Nurse Resume is Your Employment Success Shot
Most resumes submitted by nurses are formatted in a relatively standard style, with the exception of only a few small personal preferences. Therefore, it is important that you make sure that you look at a sample nurse resume or two to be certain that you know what this typical layout looks like, and you’re showing your prospective employer a resume that he or she is expecting and can work with. The following are the basic layout components that you should observe in a q

Professional Social Networks – 3 Reasons Why They Are Tipping
Professional Social Networks reaching "The Tipping Point". I do not know how many people have read the book "The Tipping point" by Malcolm Glaswell. Social networks, especially professional social networks ("PSN") have all the makings of "tipping". It's one on the reasons why we are here!PSN have the stickiness factor, We have all heard…"it’s who you know not what you know” with PSNs it is not only who you know but who do they know!1-You got your Mavens:Venture C

Such changes are hard, as many of us adopt a buy-and-hold way of navigating our lives. We figure things out once, and don't keep assessing. I once heard the late folk musician Jim Ringer describe his approach to re-tuning his guitar during a concert: "I just tune the sucker once, and don't look back." Many of us use that approach in our lives. We figure out where to live, how to earn a living, and make hundreds of other decisions about our lives, and then shift into automatic.

We can be caught up short, though, if we start to feel significantly off-course in some way. As citizens of the 21st century, our knee-jerk inclination is to get a new job, find a new lover, or BUY something (anything). But a more constructive approach may be to take a step back and ask ourselves what tradeoffs we are living with, and whether they are still valid for us.

    Trade-offs often trail after decision-mak
