But Be Doers Of The Word, And Not Just Hearers Only Deceiving Yourself James 1:22-25 burdens.James 1:22-25 (New King James Version)22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.Do you know how to be deceived? I learned the hard way that the most efficient way to make money in investment real estate is to create a mortgage note and be the bank – not the landlord. In other words, you become a private bank, financing the entire sale or part of the sale for the buyer. When you finance a sale of property, be sure to get a high rate of interest – generally 9% to 15%, depending on all of the other terms. For this article, let’s assume you sell to someone who can’t come up with all of a $20,000 down payment, so yo "Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, but an encouraging word makes it glad." Too often we find in corporate organizations a loss of efficiency when one team member is moved to another department or fired. But just like any sports team one member does not make the team, nor does two. If you are involved in corporate management shakeups or change management you may witness the streamlining and deficiencies go out the window. But that does not mean that you should allow it to affect your judgment or all "Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, but an encouraging word makes it glad." "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life." Prov. 13:12 (Amplified) All this means is, without hope your life will be lost, and no hope is a life without God, but once He enters in, He will give you a new life, an eternal one. These are but a couple verses that warn us of carrying around these heavy loads on our own and also what will be the result if we give them to God. He has given us the opportunity to unload this stuff on Him so we can be light on our feet. "Little children, you are of God (you belong to Him) and have (already) defeated and overcome them (the agents of the antichrist), because He who lives in you, is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world." 1 Jn. 4:14 (Amplified) This means that once God is in you, there is nothing you can't accomplish. When Christ uttered these words, "It is finished" He didn't mean His life here on this earth, but that it was now the beginning of you and me. He finished all our debts, He paid for them and defeated the enemy who has tried to get his claws in us since Adam and Eve. Jesus finished what we ourselves could never pay for, it was a done deal! Why then do we still hang onto the very things that He already paid for? Christ has given us all a personal invitation which is: "For My yoke is wholesome, useful, good-not harsh, hard, sharp or pressing, but comfortable, gracious and pleasant, and My burden is light and easy to be borne." Matt. 11:30 (Amplified) God's grace is not meant for us to merely "put up" with these unwanted burdens, on the contrary, His grace is meant to clean out all our excess baggage and haul it away! The Lord does not tolerate compromise, He wants us to arise. "I can do ALL things through Christ, Who strengthens me." Phil. 4:13. This doesn't say "some"
