    When I was in the penitentiary, I lived my life according to the rules of the California penal code. If I was suffering from any malady, it had to be broken bleeding or detached from my body.     A good nights sleep is so important to overall health that trying to exist without it brings more stress into your life. I get few messages on my cell phone. when I do, I go into stress mode because I know that there is a problem with one of the units that I installed. But, my wife turns off the telephones when she arrives home from work because, she is totally stressed from hearing this constant noise.

    Noise must contribute to the over stimulation of our nervous system because stop and listen for a minute. Everything makes a sound. Even the alarm system beeps every few minutes, electronic equipment blinks, computers have some when they reboot automatically. We live in world filled with noise. Cars honkihums and rattles. The kids have the music blaring, men snoring.. oops that's another life. But you get the picture. Look for some quiet time.

    When we hear all these noises all day every day, our brain reacts to it and so will our bodies. We need quiet. We need to relax. Relaxation and a few minutes of quiet can make all the difference in our level of stress.
