I Remember My Speeding Ticket and My Insurance Increased
Dottiedee here sharing, “I Remember” as this is my story dear to my heart, may we all find our lesson contained within the words on this page.About 15 years ago we were traveling across Western Kansas on the interstate when we were stopped for speeding. I was the driver. I got out my lice

    Remember More In Less Time
So maybe you didn’t get a 1400 on your SAT, or maybe you didn’t even graduate high school. I am here to tell you that it is not to late to start learning things that you might have given up on because you have been conditioned for years that you were not cut out to do certain things. Today was no different from any other in regards to my obsession with tackling my to-do list. Let me first explain how I configure my duties. I usually sit down, prior to my bedtime of two o'clock in the morning, and begin compiling my list. I will transfer over anything left from the day's list before and continue to jot down anything that I feel is important at that time. By doing this, I insure that not one single moment is wasted on anything as crazy as taking a break, spending time with my family or just taking a minute to realize how stressful my to-do list is.

When I reviewed my list in the morning sunlight I was quite stunned. Everything I had written from the night before did not seem as relevant now, especially those marked top priority. Well, that was quickly remedied by editing out those items and moving on to the more interesting ones. At this point my phone has rang several times concerning issues that are not listed for me to discuss today. Is everyone oblivious to the fact that I have a list to follow and they must not interrupt me until I put them as a priority. I have now wasted several hours on rewrites and useless phone conversations, but I must continue on my quest to effective time-management skills.

Teen Depression: Is There A Hopeful Outlook?
Teen depression strikes one in five children. This is a very frightening number. Depression is anything but a good thing. It happens to anyone, in any lifestyle, in any income range. Most of the time, it will not be noticed until it becomes a large problem. This should be the most sobering of all ne

    Funding Rental Property Purchases
The single most obstacle that barricades potential real estate investors from entering the lucrative arena of owning rental properties is funding. Finding different means of obtaining funds to pay closing costs, putting money down on loans, and minor repairs if needed upon purchase is not an easy ta

Lunch time soon rolls around and I somehow overlooked the need for nourishment. Once again, I stray from the schedule and take time to eat. So far I have accomplished very little and decide those top priorities must be moved to the next day. I know I will have more time tomorrow. Over the next few hours I check emails, retrieve my messages, and wind up out on eBay searching for the new makeup I needed. Contrary to your belief this is not a waste of time. Sometimes you can find some really good deals, I promise. Much to my surprise, I have now spent way to much time on the internet and it is time to go home. My schedule for tomorrow will have to reflect the time I lost today. (I need to put that in my notebook as not to forget to add that to my list.)

Making a daily list of duties is not a bad idea, but the key is to follow through. I now only list five top things that must be accomplished throughout the day. The secret to getting the rest done is simple. I now create a wonderful list for my husband!
