Once I've figured out whats actually causing the stress, I then acknowledge it, and then acknowledge the fact that its a destructive emotion (being stressed out) and so is unproductive. I can then drop the negative thought away, knowing that its just excess baggage.

    The last step of my stress management strategy is to take a deep breath and count slowly to ten. This allows my mind to fully release whatever silly thing that was bothering me and to relax my entire body. I'm then ready to continue on, stress-free.
