Wooden Outdoor Furniture - What to Look For When Buying Quality Wooden Outdoor Furniture
When looking for quality outdoor furniture, look for the same features you would in fine indoor furniture. Quality structure of furniture that will be at the mercy of the elements is of utmost importance.Look for features such as brass or stainless steel screws which will nor rust. All screws should be inset and not visible or exposed. Extras such as support brackets under armrest and adequate tendons on legs increase stability. Choose furniture with "cut" curvatures rather than steamed and bent. This will eliminate warping overtime from constant seasonal changes. In addition to structure, choice of wood is very important for outdoor furniture. The most widel

Not passing it forward we don?t cooperate, in fact we destroy the one thing we have that is good about ourselves, others and nature. And we will stumble upon the greatest challenge, that consists of de-constructing the truth reflected on everyone?s eyes: it?s getting harder and harder to love, to show love, and to donate something good to another.

We are not capable of demonstrating hate to a flower, grabbing it and throwing it at the floor and stepping on it. It sounds insane. But we are insensitive to the extent of passing by and seeing a homeless person thrown there on the ground, and being incapable of looking to understand or to try to help. We just walk on by and pretend it?s not our problem! Human abandon is not a problem anymore! Our exaggerated competition has led us to total insensibility!

Your baby has completed 01 year of age and is now ready to use his/her culture?s language and to use the mind, entering the world through this developmental phase. The second year of your baby?s life will be a period filled with great challenges. Language, ego and self-confidence will be developed, in midst of trying to adjust him/herself to the external world. The baby begins to perceive who is unknown in his environment and to recognize new and different faces. During this same period, to educate him/her is your main assignment. Fears, anxieties, and habits begin to surface, and the first personality traits are visible. The prospect of his/her personality interacts with yours and of the family members.

Each baby has his/her own developmental rhythm, and goes through the same phases and/or levels of development, however utilizing his/her unique potential. Some develop at a fast pace, others at a slower one.

For you, parent, the question arises: - how and why educate him/her? Which will be the role played by him/her in the world?

When Darwin presented us with the theory of the evolution of the species, we learned that we are a competitive species and one that adapts itself biologically to diverse environments, through diverse ways, in order to survive. From there on, we learned that competition was a survival resource useful in a society for its progress and also for the permanence of the being in it.

Today, the challenge is at a different scale. In the 21st century, with the computer science age at full steam, time of environmental imbalance, facing the deaths of thousands of children every day by starvation, added to countless epidemics that suppress the lives of our people, it?s urgent that the posture of preparing our children for competition and power be replaced by one of preparing them for love and cooperation. We must prepare them to help. An exclamation urges: - cooperation YES, competition, NO!

There is a unique home common to all of us: - planet earth. It is possible to find people just like us in distinct points along the face of the earth, which in turn belongs to all of us.

This cooperation will act so that men maintain life on earth and maintain their internal uniqueness from the affirmation: - I?m me, but I?m not potent without the others. The ecological equilibrium has to be searched after and this mature quest will be the reflection of the internal balance of each living being. We must educate our children so that they want to preserve nature, thus being possible the preservation of the opportunity to consolidate the I, the personal. The opposite is not true. It is not only through the power of the I that the power of another will exist, in this planet. The power comes from the strength of all, which in turn will give strength for the survival of the I.

This equilibrium of life on earth will lead to the exercise of loyalty with all forms of life, in an exercise of respect for life itself. It will lead to the exercise of human loyalty preserving what is human. This is the grand revolution that humanity aspires.

Our children don?t need to learn that they have to prepare for wars anymore. To present-day intelligence, and to our thinking children, war is a total waste of efforts and of life. Intelligence doesn?t become content if there is no dialog!

Our children have to learn that we don?t need to practice actions that benefit only our homeland, while all other countries are destroyed. The destruction of other spaces and lives leads to the impossibility of future existing this place we call home. It imbalances the eco-system, twists the relations of respect, and shades the hope of a better future. If we don?t diminish the differences among men, and violence as a whole, we will not have peace in our own little corners, our homes. The anxiety of the whole reflects the anxiety of each individual.

We must teach our children that the main necessity of men and of children is love. Without it, we?re empty. Not passing it forward we don?t cooperate, in fact we destroy the one thing we have that is good about ourselves, others and nature. It's Not About Medicine - It's About Communication
Yesterday I spent some time with a bloke who is educated, creative, articulate, confrontational, blunt, controversial, honest and friggin' funny.According the world-famous Harper Success-O-Meter, he's very successful (ticks lots of boxes), is well known and respected, is down to earth, and while he can identify a problem, he's all about solutions.Love that in a person. He's Australia's highest profile medic, has his own TV show on Channel Nine, has written a bunch of books, is an internationally renowned educator and speaker, has travelled to, and researched in, 103 countries, and his name is Dr. John Tickell. While I have interviewed the great man on

Hit It Before It Begins - Proactive Skin Care
An ounce of prevention is better than a ton of cure, goes the old adage. Ironically, this holds true to skin care as well. Let's define the opposite to know the real meaning of proactive. Being reactive is looking for cure after a problem has arisen. If this is your skin care philosophy, you're in big trouble. Why wait for acne to appear when you can at least prevent them from forming?Proactive skin care heals blemishes and prevents new ones from developing. The basic cause of acne is a lesion called comedo, a hair follicle that is enlarged and plugged with oil, bacteria and dead skin cells. As sebum is continuously produced, bacteria can flourish within the swollen

Dear God, How Can I Finally Love Myself? Exclusive Excerpt
Personal TransformationHow can you finally love yourself? I have asked myself this question throughout most of my life because for most of my life I did not love myself.I felt grief because I felt less than, not good enough. Perhaps you feel these same feelings. Perhaps, just as I used to, you feel like a failure, or somehow incomplete. Far too many people around the world experience the self-loathing that I used to experience, which is why I wrote this book. That experience must be turned around, and it can be turned around by you.You see, when you believe all of the things you perceive, all of those lies that tell you that you are not

We need to, again, discuss and practice love, with the commitment of leaving aside the economical, cultural, racial and ideological differences. We need to teach our children that it is necessary to rescue humanity?s dignity so that the existence on this planet be worthwhile. We need every newborn and others that are on their way. We seek a new model of man.
