If you are ready to work at home, the first step is to not to quit your current job yet. Unless you don't have a job, and then you are ready to begin. Many people would love to find the perfect work at home job. The truth is that there is no perfect work at home job. What there is are a lot of jobs, opportunities and ways to make money working from home available.

The resistance to change is purely a psychological concern only. They are concerned with their safety. They do apprehend whether they would be protected and free from harm during the period when changes are implemented. The situations caused by changes will trigger the psychological responses such as safety and security. Some of these responses may be positive and some others may be negative. For example, if people with decision-making powers were taken out, on account of change efforts, it would cause a negative result. On the other hand if they are told clearly about these early and given clear options to chose from, they would be more positive about the change.

In an article I recently came across, the author spun a tale of how to conceive and sell good ideas for software based on inspirations for better ways to accomplish tasks. What the article did not include were the real difficulties involved with going from being a hobbyist working with home spun ideas, to achieving a viable commercial software product for sale.
