You Are Missing Out On Thousands In Revenue And Profit
Before starting my company, I worked as a Director of Internet Marketing for a Christian business magazine. The job objective was to increase revenue on the magazine’s website. When I started, almost all of the internet revenue was coming from subscription sales that people purchased on the magazine’s website. After spending a month tweaking the subscription pages and creating better ads, I managed to increase monthly internet revenue from about $2,000 per month to $3,000 per month. It was an improvement, but I was hardly earning my keep. That was when I came across a completely different opportunity to increase revenue. I created a new online store, selling books, CDs and videos that were geared toward Christians in business. Then I started sending weekly email b

Your personal belief system will either move you ahead – or hold you back. Period! The power of your belief system truly is amazing! It is like your own personal barometer that gauges the power (or lack of it) in your subconscious mind every day.

Most of our beliefs have been programmed deeply into our minds since childhood. Therefore, we all act and feel according to what we believe to be true about ourselves and our environment, much from beliefs formed when growing up.

Many of those beliefs and thoughts are negative and self-defeating. We all have negative self-talk from time to time, nagging at us and beating up our confidence even after we worked so hard to build it up. The good news is that you are an adult now, and you have the ability to take control of those voices in your head.

You can either choose to blame your environment and make excuses for it and your lack of sales – or – you can accept the fact that you are in control and have th

UK Work Permits, What an Employer Needs to Know
What is a UK Work Permit?A work permit is a legal permission that is issued to the UK employer by the Home Office, which allows an individual to be employed in a full time, skilled post. The employer must make an application to the Home Office for permission to employ that individual in this role. What is the application process for a UK work permit? An application can be made either from within the UK or from outside the UK. The decision on how this application should be made will depend on the individual’s current immigration status and when it is due to expire. What type of job can work permits be issued for? Work Permits can be issued for a wide variety of posts; it does not have to be a UK shortage occupation. However, there

From Desperate Housewife to PR Diva in 9 Life Altering Steps - Tips for Business Owner Hopefuls
Starting my own business in February of 2001 at age 39 was among the most optimistic things I have done in my life. Before electing to stay home for a year with my infant son in 1997, I held a variety of corporate marketing management positions. I was accustomed to making big decisions and influencing big outcomes That is why I grew weary of managing the expense side of the household equation only to find that the generic brand of discount wheat crackers didn’t taste nearly as good as Nabisco® brand Wheat Thins.Restless with my professional skills on the shelf, I applied my talent and passion to influence the revenue side of the household money equation. I wanted to earn money to buy better groceries. Today my agency is a corporation of three employees and a dog, and I am too busy to cook

What is Absolutely the Best Day to go on a Job Interview?
First of all, to fully understand and appreciate the answer, a couple of givens must be taken into account. What I believe to be the most important item for dealing with an interview successfully is, your attitude. Your attitude determines the outcome of every interview. The core competencies must be there in order for you to get the interview in the first place but, your attitude during the interview will be what ultimately gets you accepted or rejected for the position. If it was as simple as, "I can do the job", there would be no need for an interview in the first place - the employer would just hire based upon the resume. Now that we have determined that attitude will determine the success of the interview, lets more deeply understand the answer to the question. Unequivocally, without a d

    More Questions - More Sales
According to a recent survey, 86% of salespeople ask the wrong questions. The inevitable result of this is that they end up missing valuable opportunities and wasting customer time, all the while appearing unprofessional. While this statistic may be alarming at first, consider that according to a survey of 4,000 sales professionals, 80% of the business is brought in by 20% of the sales force. What do the 20% have in common? They have a process and apply themselves with diligence.Part of that process includes an effective questioning strategy to uncover needs and discover motives. There are numerous strategies that can be applied to the questioning process, but I have found the most effective strategy to be what I call the Moses Questioning Strategy. There were seven questions Moses wanted answered
of those voices in your head.

You can either choose to blame your environment and make excuses for it and your lack of sales – or – you can accept the fact that you are in control and have the ability to think and act positively in any sales environment.

You have the ability to change your beliefs, your thoughts and actions. Only you can allow yourself to move past old negative ways of thinking. You have the ability to move away from any self-destructive, self-sabotaging talk that creates barriers along the path of your success.

Once realizing that all of your thoughts, feelings and actions are all the result of your own self-images and personal beliefs you can then, and only then, begin to move past behaviors that hold you back from reaching your peak sales potential.

When you develop a positive mind-set about selling, you instantly begin to break down negative and limited belief systems. Barriers and obstacles that once may have limited your
