The person in charge of the Service Department was one unhappy man. I wanted desperately to be there for her and 'handle' this person, woman-to-man! She dreaded going in for the little quirks that needed to be worked out after purchasing a new vehicle. An upgrade here and fine-tuning there; something even involved her getting a rebate of some sort and she preferred to leave it than deal with this person. I was incensed! I always bragged about the Service Department where I take my car and she just couldn't believe it. She now drives a Mercedes Benz SUV and is very happy. I do not believe she owned the Acura SUV for 6 months. I am not so narrow minded to suggest this is what can be expected of all Acura or Mercedes Benz Service Departments. We are in different states and her experiences have been those of a company operating with excellence, just as mine have been.

When a company or individual can operate from a position of thoroughness and keep in mind our purpose, we are in the excellence zone. If we can remain clearly focused on making a positive difference, we're in the zone.
