    Mistake Proofing or Poka Yoke
Thrashing out mistakes in manufacturing engineering was developed by the Japanese as a tool of mistake proofing that helps reduce waste in areas such as time, energy and resources. The idea stresses on producing zero defects as a part of a quality tool kit to prevent human errors. Although Poka Yoke is applied differently in different situations, the common thread that binds them all is its simplicity; it uses small tools at the point of the anticipated mistake generation itself.Empowerment of Employees As A Tool of Poka Yoke DevelopmentThe beautiful part of mistake-proofing is the empowerment of employees to identify, suggest ways out and execute the plan to iron out the cause of the mistake at its point of origination. In fact, anybody from a manager to a line employee can be allowed

One of the tragedies of modern civilization is that many people are corralled into doing jobs or pursuing careers that don't fulfill them. Society has a way of forcing us to choose between surviving and expressing ourselves creatively. Some lucky ones seem to make the right decisions or meet the right people. They have a level of talent that gets them noticed and paid to do what they love. Though they're far and few between, they represent a light of hope (or despair) for the rest of us that struggle with this issue.

The road to "success" in any field is littered with the dashed hopes of multitudes that never really "made it". Truth is, not everyone can become a famous, or even a paid actor. Very few of us have been able to write the successful novel or non fiction book and earn a living. How many would be musicians make a reliable living on the stage?

OK, so you love animals. You could go to school for all those years and become a veterinarian doctor. But if that's not your thing, then what?

Do not despair because believe it or not, for people who take advantage of it, the world wide web is teeming with opportunities. What never ceases to amaze me is the absolute magnitude of the Internet. Every subject I research is teeming with millions and millions of interested people. For every subject there is a group of devoted humans that relate to it.

So, you ask: "How do I take advantage of this wide open opportunity?" It's easier than you think. First, you don't even need a formal education, you don't have to know someone in the business. You don't even have to know much about what you may want to do. You only need heart, savvy and guts. Heart you already have if you are passionate about anything at all. Savvy you can learn, and you can develop "guts".

What do you really Love to do? If you can come up with activities or hobbies or an interest that grabs your attention and juices you up, you have what it takes to earn a living on the Internet. I know this is a bold statement, but trust me, many people are finding the way to their personal fulfilling careers doing what they love on the net. Self Actualization really is within reach. What most people lack are only three things.

    1. Heart: Your Purpose. The why. The heart connection between you and what you love is the "why". Why do you like this subject, activity? What does it give you? Find what this is by just observing yourself. What do you gravitate towards? What gives you the deepest satisfaction? There is likely more than one subject, activity or area of life you are interested in. Maybe you can combine them.

You can start right now. You probably already have. Just start researching your hobby. Find websites that feature your particular interest. Notice how many of them have a partner or affiliate program. Find blogs where someone is writing about your niche. Notice how many people read the blog and how many comments are made. Find discussion groups where people are talking about your subject. Notice how many there are.

Presentations - The Best Style is Versatile
Sue was presenting to financial advisors about her company’s new fund. Her slides were spectacular and the numbers spoke for themselves. It was a very lucrative product to sell. So why did she feel like the advisors couldn’t wait to get out of the room? There are two basic reasons for giving presentations: to educate and to inspire. Either way, like it or not, when you are making a presentation, you are selling--your ideas, products and services, results; and most importantly, your competency and credibility. There are many different styles you can adopt when making a presentation, but the best style is versatile. Here are some tips to develop versatility and successfully educate and inspire audiences to buy what you are selling.StylizeBefore you pre

    2. Savvy: The knowledge of how to do it. The tricks of the trade. Learning the ropes. Most of us don't really understand the many practical and technical aspects of setting up a "Self Actualizing Internet Business". Especially for someone who is more of a creative type, the task of learning technical necessities can cause us to shrink back and say "Whats the use"? I don't want to mislead you, there is a learning curve. But with the Internet learning is easier than it's ever been.

There's a wealth of information out there that will teach you various aspects of how to earn money on the net. A simple search will give you thousands. But, be careful. You could end up representing one of those dashed hopes littering the road to success. There are lots of "sharks" in the Internet ocean. Sales hype is rampant. You could end up buying many books and programs before you find what you need. I went this route and it took me 5 years to sort through the chaff. The main piece of advice I will give here is: Avoid the over hyped product. Thoroughly research the product before you buy. Make sure it fits you.

You can easily find help. There are tons of websites that offer free help. Wikipedia, Answer dot com etc. Just search and ask if you have a lack of knowledge or a question.

You can hire out what you don't want to tackle. This is called "out tasking". Look up "freelance ______" (you fill in the blank). You will find someone to do your technical work for a reasonable fee.

    3. Guts: The motivation to follow through. The passion that leads to overcoming the obstacles. True grit. Deciding to climb a mountain we come face to face with our inner feelings. This may stop us from actually taking the steps. Inner resistance "issues" need to be dealt with in order to gain the momentum and energy to rise above. I believe this is where most gladiators "take the sword."

After having figured out what you love, (finding heart), then climbing the mountain of gaining savvy (learning the ropes) it's tragic that many fine, talented individuals lose momentum before achieving "escape velocity" (enough energy to overcome the gravity of obstacles).

Most do not realize how much our feelings rule our lives. Every time we feel a need or a lack, we tend to look for solace. Our attention is stolen. Our energy is compromised. When we feel anxiety or reticence, we often look for a cure instead of the answer to why? No one could be expected to end up self actualized using these tactics.

Get the tools to deal with your emotions. Use the available knowledge to overcome your inner obstacles. The most powerful tools I have found fall under the umbrella term of "energy psychology". Emotional Clearing is another term. Using these tools will add tremendous momentum to your efforts.

By following your "heart", developing your "savvy" and building "guts", I have no doubt that you will join the ranks of the self actualized.
