1. Submit original articles. The temptation is to submit the same article to many sites, but I urge you to avoid this. Article sites like original content and, anyway, Google will just drop your duplicate content down to the supplemental index where it won't get seen.

2. Keep your outgoing links for the Author's Bio box and don't put direct affiliate links in there. Instead, link to a blog or a site you own - it is from there that you can direct the user to a vendor via an affiliate link.

3. Don't make your article a sales pitch. Provide valuable information for the reader. It you do that, they're more likely to follow your links all the way to a sales page.

Article writing offers a great way to start earning some money on the Internet without any start-up costs. Even if you just write one article a week, that's 52 a year.
