    Protecting Brands From Being #1
We define brand as a representation of consumer perception — the perception and feeling toward a product or service. For example, when we think of Disney, we may think of “magic,” or when we think of Harley-Davidson, we may think of “individuality.” Each of these brands has done an exceptional job in branding themselves as something more than a “table stake” (representing the minimum investment

Is It Possible to Literally Triple Your Google Earnings?
There is so much hype today in the internet marketing world about Google Adwords and Google Adsense and how internet marketers can earn thousands of dollars from each of these programs. There are so many ebooks and programs that claim that nothing else works but the exact program they are writing about, that it makes it very difficult and very confusing to determine what program to choose or wh
Why should you use articles for marketing? Is it effective? Yes, it can be, if done correctly. In this series or articles I’ll talk about the reasons articles are effective for marketing, how to optimise them and the importance of a properly structured article.

    Why Use Articles for Marketing?

Why use articles to drive traffic to our blog or website?

Firstly, it’s free to do and if done correctly, highly effective.

Secondly, not only will you receive traffic from users of the Article Directories themselves but also from web surfers who search on your keywords, find your article and then subsequently visit your blog. In fact it is these searchers we are going to be targeting.

Thirdly, it is the best way to learn about using highly targeted keywords in your marketing campaigns. If you get the basics right here, it will stand you in good stead if you move onto other marketing methods like Pay-per-Click Ads!

Let’s first talk about the two major differing strategies in article marketing and the reason why I am going to focus on one only in this article series.

Strategy 1 – Multiple Article Submission

I’ll explain the structure of an article in a later article but whenever you write an article you are going to link it back to your blog or website. Links to your sites (or ‘back links’) from high PR (Page Rank) rated Article directories are important and good for the PR of your own site. Having a better PR will increase the chances of your blog or website being listed higher in the search engine listings.

So, the hot strategy for 2006 was to submit the same article to multiple directories to increase the PR of your blog or website by virtue of the multiple back links. A whole raft of automated article generators appeared to satisfy the demand for this vast content generation explosion.

In my next article I’ll look at the best ways to target and optimise your articles to get the best results possible.
