With that said, the possibilities are really endless. I personally know business owners who have dramatically increased their sales by creating a Myspace profile for their company. I also know several individuals who are making a good living promoting other people’s products through their own myspace profile...myself included. Pressure Washing Business Case Study, Tractor Cleaning
So often small service businesses fail to exploit niches, which have little if any competition. I know as I built my companies we always tried to identify all the market niches and go after them. We were not always able to succeed at everything, occasionally we would fail; it happened more than I would care to admit, but those are lessons learned. The best way to get to success is to learn from the challenges of the past and so in my office I have a huge trashcan, bigger than any executive you will ever meet. And it is alw
Ok, it’s not exactly flattering to be called a whore, but who cares when you’re making money, right?

Before you send me hate mail or report me to the local authorities, let me explain myself a bit further.

The term that I’m referring to is “myspace whore”. If you haven’t heard it than I really do apologize for exposing you to such an inappropriate phrase, but if you know anything about Myspace.com, then you know that that quote is thrown around like tator tots in a food fight. However, the definition of myspace whore isn’t as bad as it sounds. Basically, it refers to a member who has an enormous list of “friends” most of whom he or she has no personal relation with. In other words it means someone who likes to network with as many people as they can. Whether it be for their own reasons or what we’re going to be talking about...to make money.

You see, unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of years, you probably know that Myspace has become the supernova of online social networking sites. Boasting an 80 million registered user database, Myspace has surpassed Google, MSN and AOL with its 38.4 million U.S. visitors this past year.

So what does that all mean to the internet marketer...everything!

Imagine advertising your product or an affiliate’s product to 80 million potential customers. Imagine breaking that 80 million down by demographic region, age, sex, ethnic background, relationship status, hair color...get the picture. I don’t know of many other places that can produce such a huge number of targeted traffic for absolutely zero dollars, and there are plenty of channels by which to advertise.

Like I said before, not bad for a website that can generate all that traffic for free!

I think the toughest part of your endeavor is going to be; growing your friends list and getting people to view your profile, in other words, “whoring yourself”, but even that is beginning to change. There are several different programs on the market as we speak, that will automatically go through the process for you. Adding 100’s of friends to your profile within a 24 hour period. It’s like having your own “free-per-click” program that runs on autopilot while you’re working on your other ventures.

Your second challenge will be to stay within the Myspace guidelines so you don’t get your account cancelled. As long as you stay off of their radar, then you are free to advertise as you wish, but once you get your account cancelled, then you have to start the process from the beginning.

How not to get your account cancelled by Myspace:

    1. Make sure you read all the forum or group rules before you post. One wrong post can get you banned from the entire show, so keep your ads spam free.

    2. Whatever you do, do not add Tom as a friend. If you think this is silly, then you’re making a big mistake. I’ve been told that Tom (the creator of myspace) has a script attached to his profile. Now if they want, Myspace can “red flag” any account that they think violates any rules.

    3. Do not steal another member’s photos and pretend that they are you. You will be potentially adding thousands of friends to your account and chances are you’ll probably bump into the person that you are trying to impersonate. They’ll have you reported and there goes your advertising channel.
