What an interesting week this last week has been. All sorts of weird things happening to my Christian sisters it seems. One was very ill (she suffers from a rare disease sort of a like an environmental disease ) another hurt her knee running, another's husband had TWO serious heart attacks on Friday and it was also discovered he has diabetes, and another told me doctors have found maybe breast cancer in both breasts plus her ongoing problem with her stomach. Oh boy, makes Home sound so nice! I wondered though, why so much of this has not only been happening but why the Lord has put them all in my path. I wondered why he has given me such a burden for healing in others and that includes their pets....

Our True Selves are from Heaven, and they are all equal. Why is there the distinction of good and evil in human character?

Being content whether have plenty or little as long as we rest in the arms of the One who provides it all for us.

God knows we cannot make it to His kingdom until we learn how to sacrifice our needs, our wants, and our desires, for the good of someone else. In other words, until we learn how to love one another, even the unlovable. And, we can never love until we get rid of the anger.

Rabbi Kushner could not comprehend how a loving, supposedly merciful and compassionate and just God, could allow such a tragedy to befall him and his loved ones. After all, he considered himself a God-fearing, obedient man who was living a more religiously committed life than most people. So how could a God of justice permit so great an injustice?

This week you may get knocked down off your feet. It may take you a while to get on sure footing and it may take strength of the heart to move forward. But keep the initiative, spring forward and live the life God has always wanted for you.

There are no better people to be around than those who have a zest for life and a joy in their hearts. Few as there may be, when you meet one you just know it. There’s something about them that draws you inward, some call it a persons, “Persona”, I believe God would call it your, ”Passion.”

All of us have had failures and we have all walked down that lonely fairway of life not knowing if we would win or lose. Phil could have chosen this weekend to just say here I go again, and dwell on what could have been, yet he didn’t, “today is my day” he thought.

Failing at something and getting back up is much less painful than to look back and regret not doing something (or doing something) and not being able to go back and change the outcome.

Why is it that selling drugs, sex, a big screen TVs, or any physical item is easier than selling someone on a new way of thinking? What is it that grounds us in our idealogy even if what we believe in doesn't demonstrate that it works for us? What is so compelling in our thoughts that we won't budge from our political or religions beliefs?

With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. What can I do in one day or a thousand years? I can be Holy in Jesus sight which is a thousand years and only one day in my life.

It definitely does not require a degree from well known university, a high paying job or huge bank balance. Holistic living has nothing to do with all that!

What is the purpose of our life? Is it something that we need to find in order to become totally happy? Does the key to our happiness lie in finding the purpose of our life? The following story will reveal to you the rarely spoken true secret of the purpose of life.

Depression is a very scary disease

The basic problem with panic attacks is that they may occur with or without any known cause. If you can pinpoint what has triggered the panic attack in the first place, preventing it next time becomes rather easy.

Isn't there an old friend out there that you think of every now and then? When you think of him or her a does a BIG smile come to your face? You think of how much fun you had or how mischievous you were? If you haven't called that friend lately, just do it! I find, that in the most hectic times in my life, an old friend is the best medicine. You could reminisce about the past and just laugh and smile. I have those friends in my life and I'm sure somewhere out there, you do too!!! If not, make a new friend; they will become your old friend.
