The Star of Bethlehem
Every Christmas the Yuletide card portrays a silver star in a navy blue sky and every year the same heavenly object sparkles from the top of the decorated evergreen. At season's end the three wise men and their fellow shepherds gather at a hastily set up manger for the familiar nativity scene. Though it shimmers on the greeting card and its brilliance lights up the tannebaum, it wasn't a star that erupted into a supernova on that dark Judean night. The star that shone so brightly two thousand years ago was wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.

Is 'Thought' Evident in Plants?
Who would have thought that a plant could be a witness to a crime – and even testify against the perpetrator? Well, it is true! In the early 1970’s experiments were done on ordinary houseplants, by researchers who connected a polygraph machine to a plant.

Learning the Secret of Contentment (Part 1)
Paul lived in a time when Christianity was more respectable church membership. It was more than a handshake and more than shouting amen; it was more than holding an office or singing in the choir. Being a Christian in Paul’s day was a life threatening experience.

Chronic Illness: The Enemy Within
That we seek counsel from man and not God in such times speaks volumes of how ignorant we are as God's children. We lack teaching to recognize chronic illness for what it often is, a spiritual attack against our body.

Kachina Doll
To a shaman a kachina isn't really a doll or a child's toy. Also, it isn't a collector's piece of art or a decoration. However, it is often used that way, and that's ok too. There is a place for that approach in our lives. They do make a powerful addition to any home's decor, and make a great conversation piece.

Passions of the Heart!
There are no better people to be around than those who have a zest for life and a joy in their hearts. Few as there may be, when you meet one you just know it. There’s something about them that draws you inward, some call it a persons, “Persona”, I believe God would call it your, ”Passion.”

The Greatest Gift
In human terms the loneliest feeling that one can experience is to believe that no one knows you are alive and the most hurtful thing is to be ignored. Although the creator cannot be hurt in any fashion, the only desire that he/she has is to experience itself, to be recognized and acknowledged.

What is Intuition
Did you ever get a feeling or gain notion of a specific situation without any logical explanation? Well, that is your intuition. When you least expect it intuition reaches out and hits you with information that you have no idea were it came from. The problem with this type of feeling or knowledge is that we have no logical explanation for it and often do not follow what it’s trying to tell us. However, many find that when their intuition is over looked, it later proves itself to be a fact and regret not following it. Well, I will tell you about what happened to me when I ignored my intuition.

Good News from Mars (Part 2)
Paul is led up a 512 ft. hill, Mars Hill, also known as Areopagus, and there he faces the Epicureans and the Stoics (and others). These intellectual giants represented the philosophical thinking of the day in which Paul lived. And when these PhD’s saw Paul, they sneered and considered him a vain babbler (seed picker).

Go Forward!
Well, it has been said, and I believe, that the easy way out in life is never ultimately profitable – even though it may appear to be. The short and easy way only leads to a fools’ haven; a place where we feel we have arrived only to discover we have missed the mark in life.

Spring Cleanup
With the end of what seemed to be a never ending winter,
we are now ready to start cleaning up around the house. We
are anxious to lighten the load and get rid of unwanted junk.
Some of it we get tired of or have outgrown. We either do
one of three things, throw the stuff out, give it away or sell it
because it still has some value.
How much easier it is for us to clean up our property than it
is to clean up our inner souls? When we get rid of this junk,
we are that much richer for it. Sometimes we can't put a
price on things that really matter.
What is your freedom worth to you?
