The Mirror of Truth
Many times, we are blinded to our own sins. This poem is about a man who will not believe what he sees in the mirror in front of him. It represents our sinful state, and the many times we are unwilling to face our flaws and pursue change.

Spring Cleanup
With the end of what seemed to be a never ending winter,
we are now ready to start cleaning up around the house. We
are anxious to lighten the load and get rid of unwanted junk.
Some of it we get tired of or have outgrown. We either do
one of three things, throw the stuff out, give it away or sell it
because it still has some value.
How much easier it is for us to clean up our property than it
is to clean up our inner souls? When we get rid of this junk,
we are that much richer for it. Sometimes we can't put a
price on things that really matter.
What is your freedom worth to you?

'I'm Not A Christian, But I Play One On Sunday'
After more than three decades of church ministry, I have come to one unsettling conclusion. Actually, I've come to more than one conclusion, but this one is the most depressing.
That conclusion is simply this: all who say they are going to Heaven are not actually on the right path, going in the right direction. Most, of course, have the best intentions, but good intentions don't make up for going in the wrong direction.

Prejudice is a a symbol that more information is required to form an opinion. Differences are celebrated in enlightened societies as new life.

Just as you dream, He also dreams. Long before you were created, God had a dream and from this dream came your marathon. For His purpose, you were created. Throughout the Bible, God refers to the race and gives a specific training recipe for victory. Are you ready to be a champion for Him?

What Is The Spiritual Path?
We confuse ourselves about the meaning of the spiritual path. And because of this confusion, we never embark on it. Yet the end of confusion comes from looking at the essence of true spirituality. Once we capture that essence, we can act in a way that sets our feet on that path.

Two Halves Don't Always Make A Whole
I waited all my life for my soul mate. I always knew, somewhere deep down inside myself, that the perfect mate was out there somewhere, waiting for me just like I was waiting for him. His absence had been noticeable for as long as I could remember; it was always as though a part of me was missing...

Are You on the Journey to Snapping Point?
We don't suddenly break down, grind to a halt, get seriously ill. We do it over time, day by day, but by bit, straw by straw, until *snap* we broke the proverbial camel's back. It seems sudden, shocking and out of the blue, but the truth is that all things manifest over time. They only appear sudden if we haven't noticed what was going on in the build up to the final crescendo that actually gets our attention.
