Unfinished Business (Part 2)
So it was with John the Baptist, the martyr Stephen, the apostle Paul, John Kennedy, John Kennedy Jr. They have all joined with countless others, the gallant march with God’s greats who went to their glory with their work undone, their business unfinished, their dreams unfulfilled, and their lives incomplete.

Our King Complex

Miracles
What is a miracle? What role, if any, do traditional psychotherapies ascribe to the power of the divine to effect healing. Until and unless the role of divine energy can be recognised for its true role in our lives any attempts at healing will fall short of our intentions.

An Open Invitation
An Open Invitation
“All you who are thirsty, come and drink.”
ISAIAH 55:1, NCV
The most incredible invitations are not found in envelopes; they are found in the Bible. You can’t read about God without finding Him issuing invitations. He invited Eve to marry Adam, the animals to enter the ark, David to be king, Israel to leave bondage, Nehemiah to rebuild Jerusalem. God is an inviting God. He invited Mary to birth His Son, the disciples to fish for men, the adulterous woman to start over, and Thomas to touch His wounds. God is the King who prepares the place, sets the table, and invites His subjects to come in. In fact, it seems His favorite word is come.

Let Your Will, Not Mine, Be Done
Can I be honest with you? There are days when I just don’t feel like getting up in the morning. I’m noticing this a lot lately because the weather is changing and it’s pretty cold early in the morning when I awake to start my day. There are days when I move that blanket off of me and quickly snatch it back because it’s too cold to get up.

Mind, in Time and Space
Understanding humanity's relationship in time and space is crucial in understanding his relationship to that which created him. This awareness leads us to enlightenment and the knowingness that we are part of a process and not separate from it. We are one with all that is, and the process cannot work without us.

What Is A Power Song and Where Do I Get One?
Power Songs are oral prayers expressing your true self, your nature, your individuality, your power. All cultures have power songs but you can have your own power song too. We think of the power in a hymn or an African chant, a Shamanic ceremony song or even in the howling of wolf. And there is definite power in sound.

For many of us, our lives are composed of millions of meaningless moments, all strung together -- perhaps with a sprinkling of sacred moments mixed in. Meditations From a Spiritual Journey
While Mr. Simpson wrote his poems, he struggled with his self—with whether the poems made sense, or how it would end. This struggle demonstrates the reality of the spiritual life as we move between the two poles of doubt and faith, darkness and illumination. This struggle is clearly scene, and enhanced for each of us, in several of his poems.
