The Two Most Important Commandments - Love
Love is mentioned well over 350 times in the Bible. I'm sure God must be trying to tell us something. We will start our study with Matthew 22:37-38; And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the most important and first commandment.

Selling Spiritual Stuff
Why is it that selling drugs, sex, a big screen TVs, or any physical item is easier than selling someone on a new way of thinking? What is it that grounds us in our idealogy even if what we believe in doesn't demonstrate that it works for us? What is so compelling in our thoughts that we won't budge from our political or religions beliefs?

Let Your Will, Not Mine, Be Done
Can I be honest with you? There are days when I just don’t feel like getting up in the morning. I’m noticing this a lot lately because the weather is changing and it’s pretty cold early in the morning when I awake to start my day. There are days when I move that blanket off of me and quickly snatch it back because it’s too cold to get up.

Enlightenment Takes You to Selfishness
No one likes the word selfish or selfishness, yet to be completely enlightened selfishness is what takes you there. When one is completely selfish they move to selflessness which works in ones best interest and it is a conscious selfish thought which is a part of unconditional love not a result of it.

Some Evidence of How We Are Spiritually Connected
A recent case study done by Nick Arrizza M.D., Energy Psychiatrist, Researcher and Healer reveals that we are spiritually connected, that our negative memories affect others in direct negative ways, that these memories can be permanently released from consciousness and that by doing so one can also effect the same release in all other individuals who share the same trauma. Benefits are many but most importantly is the reconnection to one's spiritual self.

Sole Work - Walking the Spiritual Path
For the past several years I have struggled with getting (and staying) fit. Ok I admit it, the struggle has been longer than just a few years. As a kid, instead of playing nicely with the girls, I fought with the neighborhood boys. I attempted to join their fun and received new scars weekly in bloody games of soccer. I was always the last one picked to play on the kickball team and, as the catcher of my 5th grade softball team, I pummeled the pitcher in the head with a fast ball. Uncoordinated in team sports, I succeeded only at baton twirling which was fun but I barely broke a sweat. After failures in group sports I thought I'd try running so, a few years ago I attempted to train for a half marathon. I ended up limping home in tears and thought I’d never exercise again. (I couldn't even MOVE after that, much less exercise!)

Why the Virginia Tech Massacre Reminds Us We Need a Nature Break
If all we get out of the Virginia Tech Massacre is that some lunatic loner did this and we have to isolate and institutionalize such people, we're making a huge mistake. Whether you like it or not, anyone can end up like Cho Seung-Hui if pushed hard enough. Everyone has a breaking point, and we're fools to think this isn't going to happen again.
