Controlling What YOU Hear By Watching What YOU Say: If you’re going to listen to anyone you’re going to hear yourself. It does not matter what anyone in the world says about you, it means nothing until you allow it to get into your spirit and you begin to say what is being said to you.

At times when we think honestly, if we stop deceiving ourselves, we are forced to admit that life per se can become an unmitigated horror. Not only are we threatened by wars, financial shifts and joblessness, the calamities of nature and narcissistic manipulators, the very earth itself treats us with supreme indifference. The beautiful and productive world we inhabit slowly but surely converts every plant that sprouts a stalk and each creature that draws a breath into fertilizer to feed yet another doomed generation.

Life at times gives us impromptu tests that at the time we think we have fail in our minds.

Gods are energy. To be more precise the various Gods in the various religions represent the various aspects of the common energy that we all share.

Physical illnesses in my view result from an individual's reluctance to feel feelings such as sadness, hurt and disappointment that live inside them and that are trying to warn them that something is wrong. Without feeling these feelings and taking appropriate action any other approach to healing is only temporary and symptomatic.

We all long for love, but the defensive reactions of the ego often get in the way. However, your ego plays a very positive role in your life as well. Once you learn the secret of ego and its role in Creation, it will stop getting in your way and become the biggest ally in your journey through life.

He’d wrestle on the floor with your kids, doze on your couch, and cook steaks on your grill. He’d laugh at your jokes and tell a few of His own. And when you spoke, He’d listen to you as if He had all the time in eternity. And one thing’s for sure, you’d invite Him back...

No one comes to this world without a gift or special talent that is not unique to him/her alone. The gifts that we bring are the tools we will use to experience physical life in our own special way. For some it is obvious, for others one may have to look a little deeper. The use of such gifts or talents are also subject to interpretation and are often used for purposes other than what we wanted to experience before birth. Most of us spend a lifetime searching for the connection to them.

As I sat down today to write this article, I went through my usual routine of sitting still and listening to that voice that comes from inside of me. I do this all the time when I sit down to write an article, or before I give a speech, or before I answer an email or before I coach someone, or before I do anything basically. I do this because this is how I communicate with God. This is how I connect to my spirit.

The weight of the world had decided to settle on my shoulders. The car insurance was due and I simply did not have it. The cable went out on Wednesday, and I love Law & Order but had to miss it because regular television doesn’t work without cable in my area. The final straw came when the Student Loan people called and demanded I send a payment. I couldn’t handle it anymore. Not by myself, I couldn’t. So, I called on God for assistance...

When we can't go out into nature regularly, home water fountains and waterfalls are often a preferred source for nature sounds because they offer a multi-sensory stress-relieving experience that sound machines and audio recordings are unable to provide.
