Every time I have the desire to do something, to create something, that’s Spirit seeking expression through me. ANY time we connect with something or someone, we're also connected with Spirit (also known as God, the Universe, Higher Power, the Source). While our personal definition of Spirit is unique, when we connect with that Spirit it immediately connects us with something outside of ourselves.

What the writers of the Qumran text describe is a chariot that, supposedly, came from heaven and was driven by angels. Obviously these people were familiar with chariots, but because these were exceptionally beautiful they may have thought they were heavenly and the occupants angels. Who else could they be?

When was the last time you drove down the road with out the radio in your ears? When was the last time you just listen to your kids, your spouse or a friend and not said two words? When was the last time you just stopped and listened to the coffee pot making coffee early in the morning?

You become what you see. Jesus brought to light immortality through the gospel. The outer church sees only mortality. The teaching of Jesus is about God's gift of immortality to every man-the true self made in the likeness of God, immortal.

Why is it that selling drugs, sex, a big screen TVs, or any physical item is easier than selling someone on a new way of thinking? What is it that grounds us in our idealogy even if what we believe in doesn't demonstrate that it works for us? What is so compelling in our thoughts that we won't budge from our political or religions beliefs?

I once read a story about a Catholic priest who was a godly person. He was so godly that when he died people believed that his bones had healing powers. Yeah, right...

We all long for love, but the defensive reactions of the ego often get in the way. However, your ego plays a very positive role in your life as well. Once you learn the secret of ego and its role in Creation, it will stop getting in your way and become the biggest ally in your journey through life.

The Bible maakes it plain that we must become mature. We are not to be like the Hebrew Christians who remained at the same place they started. They were instructed to leave the first principles and go on to maturity. The formula for growth is laid out concisely in Second Peter 1:5-7. We must be careful to follow the exact order given. Skipping steps will give us in trouble in a hurry. Spiritual maturity requires all the faith and patience we can muster.

Even Pandora and her box come in two versions. In one, the hideous woes of the world are let loose while locking hope inside. In another, life’s joys are allowed to overflow their container, leaving the dark behind. In both versions, the light and dark of all metaphor clearly exists in perpetuity.

Believe it or not most astral Attacks are not caused by curses or witchcraft. Half the time astral attacks are not intentional. They take place on the subconscious level and are the result of negative thinking, verbal abuse that goes round and round in the head, stale energy that has been left behind in a place and bungled rituals that may have done by amateurs hoping to create prosperity or love.

Giving has its own reward. What you give you get back many times over. It is an opportunity to express your truth, who you are. Give not from guilt, obligation or fear because it is not your truth. Giving is a physical manifestation of who you believe yourself to be it is show and tell.

Ego thinks that it is normal and that all others should be like it. People and nations that practice assimilation will die. Diversity is the seed for new ideas and growth. Prejudice is a a symbol that more information is required to form an opinion. Differences are celebrated in enlightened societies as new life.

I have been on an intense personal and spiritual growth path now for over twelve years. Anyway the approach I take around spiritual growth boils down to three things: Commitment, attitude and balance.

Talking about your “soul” and the deeper things in life is so frequently considered as spun out or weird in modern, take-away-eating, order-it-on-the-internet life, but if you are one of these people, you'll find that letting go of socialistic trends like these will free you in a way that you simply cannot be freed in a materialists world. The end result is inner peace that no material possession could ever come close to.

We humans are a funny, funny breed. We spend our entire lives working and working and working to acquire ‘stuff’. We buy and surround ourselves with the biggest, fanciest this or that when all the while what we really need and want is something you can’t buy anywhere. The thing we all spend our time doing is looking to experience a feeling of significance

Idolatry in all of its many forms retains one consistent principle: it does nothing for the worshipper, provides no power, offers no hope. God has a claim on our hearts, and this claim is exclusive. He yields ground to no other Master, no other god. He wants all of us, so that He can bless us in our totality.

Although reality may appear harsh, things are not what they seem. The underlying truths expressed by quantum mechanics and eastern religion, show that contrary to appearance a benign agenda inspires everything.

Several months ago, I read an article about a 22 year old, successful young lady who died a premature death in a plane crash. The more I read this article, the heavier my heart became because she died in the midst of her formative years.

Ever wonder what happened to the family dinner hour? Or for that matter the family dinner half hour? Monday is Soccer Practice, Tuesday is Piano lesson, Wednesday is Church Activities, Thursday is a Soccer Game, Friday a birthday party  to attend. A number of events will fill up the weekend. Do you feel like a professional scheduler and taxi driver? Are you finding yourself increasingly irritable as you go from one activity to the next? Maybe you and your children are overscheduled.

Uh, oh. I’m in trouble now. I found God. Now what do I do with Him?

Once you've experienced a panic attack you know that you never want to live through the experience again. While you may continue to have panic attacks, there are some things that you can do to make them less severe, or at least make recovering from the attack much easier. While there are many tips to help you, you must always remember that you are not unique or odd, many people the world over experience panic attacks and you can learn how to deal with them.

In said state of skillful yielding an overwhelming joy comes upon you. If one trait above all others presents, (and it will) it is constant laughter. During times of stress freedom I have noticed that every thing becomes funny. The constant bombardment of thought becomes - funny; spilled milk funny; the sleepy egocentric unconscious reactions of others-riotous.
